One of the ways in which an Android developer can monetize their apps is by displaying in-app ads. The most common type of ads are Banner Ads, Interstitial Ads, In-App Purchase Ads, and Native Ads. These ads can be generated by the developer or an advertising curator like Google AdMob. This guide specifically focuses on monetizing with ads using Google AdMob by showing you how to integrate the Google Mobile Ads SDK into a brand new app.Note that clicking on your own live ads or creating other  invalid activity violates AdMob policies and will result in your account being suspended or disabled. For this reason, and because test ads are always available, the ad unit used in these examples will result in test ads being displayed instead of live ads.
